Pardon for the late post but something happened while we were in the midst of this. You see, Rudy and I got engaged recently and things became overwhelming since then. Now, going back to where we left off….

It was about six months ago when I received a call from Hawaii, and it was from Farah. She asked our team to photograph their special day to be held here in the Philippines. She sounded so excited. I never knew what she looked liked, not until her wedding day. All I know is that she’s so nice and I did imagine her to be pretty too as she’s the cousin of my former office mate, Patty.

On their much awaited wedding day, it became a pleasure to photograph everyone. They were real nice and Farah’s groom, Robert, is so cool! Their bridesmaids, groomsmen and their respective families were all friendly people and I’m sure everyone had a good time.

I will never forget how happy the bride was when she blurted, “oh my God, I’m gettin married” while getting her makeup done. She was so happy I almost cried

Ray and Gelli E-Session – Batangas Leisure Farm

Even in this craziest and busiest time of the year for weddings, we couldn’t afford to say no to this lovely couple when Gelli asked us to cover their prenup session in Batangas. It was an engagement that brought surprise to their families (and us included)! Rudy and I were not feeling well during that time too, but when we saw how madly in love this couple were, our adrenalin rushed and fueled us into making something beautiful. It would be noted that sometime in August this year, we also had the privilege of shooting her parents’ silver wedding anniversary (see photos here). But, it’s their time now… and here we go…

Cholo and Kaye – A Gastronomical Prenup

I heard before that “food is best shared with a loved one” and I bet it’s exactly where this couple get their delight from. Cholo and Kaye wanted their engagement session to be a little upbeat and we were happy with the outcome! The following locations are the couple’s favorite restaurants around their hometown, which is, Marikina. I never thought that I could find a lot of good restos in this place and when I have a chance, I would definitely go back here. So without any further ado, here are the photos! Rain and shine didn’t stop us from doing our engagement session with Alan and Yanne. It was a different kind of prenup session than the ones we usually do (read: not sporty) as this couple is as energetic as their favorite game – basketball. Aside from that, these two love sneakers! We can’t wait to see what the wedding shoes will look like!

Cheers to this funky couple we’ve ever shot! We can’t wait for the big day!

We all know that September is a month of heavy rains and typhoons but surprisingly, the weather was kind of different the day Gel and Joey got married. I call it midsummer in the time of torrential downpours! We all have been unbelievably blessed with a good weather that day and everyone was excited and happy! And speaking of the weather, the shoot was a breeze, thanks to Royele Rivera and Kitty Bunag for agreeing to shoot for EyeCandy. Rudy and I are truly blessed to have you guys around! We also would like to thank Carlo Bunag for everything (and that, by the way is an understatement)! Truly this day is a blessing for all of us, and, as they say, when it rains, it pours!

The wedding cord is as stylish as the bride herself.

Sheila’s Baby Bumps

Who would have thought that this couple have been married for 25 years now? Love does make you look young and feel young, ain’t it? And while reaffirming your love for one another is sweeter the second time around, immortalizing every moment we had in this nuptial session is simply — priceless!

* Mr. & Mrs. Mel & Angie Canada renewed their vows in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, first week of August 2011. Prenup session was held at their beautiful home somewhere south and also part of it was done in Puerto Azul, Ternate, Cavite. We had fun shooting the couple and had fun meeting their family with their warm and bubbly personalities.
